The Founders

Italian-born Luisa Orsini, and French-born, Antonine Peduzzi met in Rome in 2005, and immediately felt a synergy in their aesthetic sensibilities. Keen to detach themselves from the restraints and limitations of fast-fashion, they pursued a project which aimed to merge their individual passions and identities.

Their Story

Born in Paris in 2012, TL 180 was founded by Luisa and Tine with a vision to blend French sophistication with Italian craftsmanship. Inspired by art, culture, and travel — and sparked by a German artist Anselm Kiefer exhibition — they began experimenting with colour on canvas, ultimately hand-sewing their first pochette.

Built on timeless style and the balance between design, quality and versatility, TL 180 offers everyday elegance without compromising on artisanal savoir-faire. The brand creates shapes for every woman — marrying femininity with playfulness, refinement with mischief. Like Luisa and Tine themselves, their collections are impossible to categorise: independent, dynamic and authors of their own style.

The Brand's engagement

TL 180 invests in quality over quantity, creating timeless pieces made to be cherished. Bags and leather goods are crafted in Tuscany in collaboration with a family-owned factory, uniting modern craftsmanship with artisanal leatherworking tradition. Knits are handmade upon request in TL 180's Rome atelier, using high-quality Italian yarns — ensuring only what is needed is made. Producing locally keeps the carbon footprint low and guarantees careful craftsmanship by trusted artisans.
